Program Admission Notes:

Students with an AA/AS degree are required to have a 2.0 college GPA. Students transferring prior to earning an AA/AS degree can review admissions requirements at: https://www.ncat.edu/admissions/transfer-admissions/transfer-requirements.php

Engineering Major Admissions Requirements:

  • 2.5 college GPA required and
  • student must have taken or is taking calculus 1. 

Students who meet general admissions requirements but not the required GPA for Engineering will still be considered for general admission to the university as an undeclared student.
