Students applying to the Traditional BSN Option are required to successfully complete the Professional Nursing (NUR 2313) course before starting the TBSN program. Only offered in Fall and Spring semester.
Transfer students begin at WSSU as Pre-Nursing and will complete the NURS 2313 course in their first semester. While course is in progress during first semester, students will apply for the upper-division (Oct. 15 - Jan. 31). During first semester as a Pre-Nursing student, students can anticipate completing any missing prerequisites or coursework for a minor along with the NURS 2313 course.
