Interdisciplinary Coursework:

These courses may also count toward an optional minor. Students may take two environmentally themed and two businessed themed courses as electives at the community college. These classes will count towards Interdisciplinary coursework requirement.
Within the SD major, Concentration Electives and Concentration Specialization Area courses will be chosen in consultation with your SD faculty advisor. Some 2000-level and above courses taken at other institutions may transfer to Appalachian and count as courses in the Concentration Electives and Concentration Specialization Areas within each degree program, especially for students who have taken environmental, horticultural, or related natural resources management courses at other institutions.
