College Level Foreign Language Requirements:

This major requires a world language at the 211-level or higher for graduation. Language requirements may be completed after matriculation to NC State or prior to transfer by completing:

  • Language 111 (prerequisite)
  • Language 112 (prerequisite)
  • Language 211 (required for graduation)

Additional Information From NC State University:

Students in this concentration will be directed to choose a series of elective courses in political science and other fields that build their knowledge about the judicial system, and the role of law in society, politics and public policy. This concentration develops skills that benefit students interested in graduate or professional school (particularly law school) , law enforcement, judicial administration, and careers with agencies involved in the administration of justice.

Major Residency Requirement: Graduation requires a minimum of 18 hours of Political Science coursework completed at NC State with a C or better. For more information please consult the Political Science program page.
