College Level Foreign Language Requirements:

This major requires a world language at the 211-level or higher for graduation. Language requirements may be completed after matriculation to NC State or prior to transfer by completing:

  • Language 111 (prerequisite)
  • Language 112 (prerequisite)
  • Language 211 (required for graduation)

Additional Information From NC State University:

Students who enroll in this concentration will be directed toward electives that build their knowledge of public policy in various realms, including science and technology, public administration, social welfare, and other fields. This concentration prepares students for careers with public institutions where they will work with the processes, formulation, implementation, and evaluation of public policy at international, national, state, and local levels.

Major Residency Requirement: Graduation requires a minimum of 18 hours of Political Science coursework completed at NC State with a C or better. For more information please consult the Political Science program page
