NC State Undergraduate Admissions employs a holistic approach in reviewing transfer students’ applications and considers a range of accomplishments and qualifications. Recommended courses and GPA are major critical path courses or departmental recommendations and are not minimum requirements for transfer admissions.

  • 2.5 and above GPA (3.0 or higher preferred)
  • English Composition I & II equal to NC State’s ENG 101 (ENG 111 + 112= ENG 101 and ENG 1**)
  • College-level Precalculus Math
  • Biology or Chemistry with lab equivalent to BIO 181/BIO 183 or CH 101/102 (preference for students with both disciplines)

Additional Information From NC State University:

The Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business Management prepares graduates for increasing opportunities to enter managerial positions in ag-related businesses. The academic program combines core courses in agricultural business and economics with courses in science and technology. Students learn to apply the concepts, principles and terminology of business and economics to real-world issues and opportunities.

The concentration in biological sciences combines training in science with business and economics and leads to a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business Management with a concentration in the Biological Sciences/Business Management (BBM). The concentration prepares graduates for management, marketing, and sales careers in fields such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, health care, environmental protection, and food processing.
