Additional Information From Winston-Salem State University:

Major are required to take a minimum of 48 semester credit hours in the major. Students must achieve a grade of “C-” or better in all departmental courses taken as part of the major requirements. Free elective courses and possibly major elective courses can be taken to fulfill the needed total of 120 semester credit hours required for graduation.

 

Students must declare one of the three Mass Communications depth areas:

  • Digital Media
  • Multiplatform Journalism {Internship Required}
  • Applied Communication
