Transfer Guide for Associate in Arts

2024-2025

Concentration(s): World Language Education (all)
Delivery Method: On-Campus

Program Admission Notes:

NC State Undergraduate Admissions employs a holistic approach in reviewing transfer students’ applications and considers a range of accomplishments and qualifications. Recommended courses and GPA are major critical path courses or departmental recommendations and are not minimum requirements for transfer admissions.

  • 3.0 and above GPA
  • English Composition I & II equal to NC State’s ENG 101 (ENG 111 + 112= ENG 101 and ENG 1**)
  • College-level Math

NC State offers 4 World Language Education concentrations: Chinese, French, German and Spanish. Students are strongly encouraged to review program and concentration options and to discuss planned coursework with an NC State transfer advisor prior to following this guide. French, German and Spanish concentrations lead to an NC teaching license, grades K-12, for qualified students.
