Program Admission Notes:

It is recommended that students transfer during the summer term to take the Intermediate Foreign Language levels OR after earning 30 hours to reduce the time needed to earn the baccalaureate degree due to prerequisites in the language.

College Level Foreign Language Requirements:

Students are required to demonstrate intermediate-level proficiency in a language other than English. Intermediate-level proficiency is demonstrated by successful completion of a 4th-semester language course.

*If your community college does not offer intermediate level foreign language courses, you will need to transfer to App State in the summer to complete the intermediate coursework.

A minor is required for this degree.

Students are required to complete a minimum of 3-6 hours in a study abroad program or international internship relevant to their program of study and approved by an advisor.
