College Level Foreign Language Requirements:

The College of Humanities & Earth and Social Sciences requires two levels of foreign language (Language 111 and 112). Students who complete their associates degree are exempt from the language requirement.

Minors are encouraged with this major. 

Students are initially classified as Pre-Communication Studies majors until COM 231 (COMM 1101), COMM 2100, COMM 2104, and MAT 152 (STAT 1220) reqirements are met. COMM 2100 and COMM 2104 do not have a community college equivalent, but can be taken in the summer term at Charlotte and/or in the first transfer semester.
