Additional Information From Appalachian State University:

Science/Math Requirement: 15 hours are required for this degree

  • Any general education math or science course at the community college, up to 12 hours, can be used to meet this requirement. 
  • An additional 3 hours can be taken in Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Stats, Mathematics, BIO 165, 168 OR 169.
  • Course excluded from this requirement are MAT 143 & MAT 152.

Students can take EDU 187 (EDU 2000) at the community college to count towards the Education Concentration requirement.
