Program Admission Notes:
To apply to ECU as a transfer student:

Complete, or have in progress, a minimum of 24 transferable college-level courses

Have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA for all college-level coursework attempted
Students must meet the following requirements prior to taking 4000-level major courses and most concentration courses:

Completion of a minimum 45 s.h.

Cumulative GPA of 2.5 on 4.0 scale.

Completion of the declaration courses listed below or equivalent course work with a minimum grade of *C- in each and 2.5 GPA over the eight courses:

ACCT 2401, ACCT 2521, ECON 2113, ECON 2133, FINA 2244, MATH 1065, MATH 2228 or MATH 2283, and MIS 2223.

The NCCCS equivalent courses are ACC 120, ACC 121, ECO 251, ECO 252, BUS 115, MAT 171, MAT 152, and CIS 110.

Once enrolled at East Carolina University, a student will be limited to a maximum of two attempts per declaration course.
