College Level Foreign Language Requirements:

Students are required to demonstrate intermediate-level proficiency in a language other than English. Intermediate-level proficiency is demonstrated by successful completion of a 4th-semester language course.

Additional Information From Appalachian State University:

Students completing an AA degree will not be admitted to the Walker College of Business until they have achieved an App State GPA of 2.6, based on a minimum of 12 App State semester hours. Admission can occur after a student's first semester at App State, if requirements are met.

Computer requirements for all Business majors

The International Business major requires an approved semester long study abroad experience or international internship.

Courses taken at App State are specific to each International Business major. Students will work with their academic advisor to determine what to take each semester.
