College Level Foreign Language Requirements:

NCCC students are encouraged to complete through intermediate level Spanish. SPA 111, 112, 211, and 212 are required for this major.

Students with prior Spanish coursework/proficiency may qualify for lower-level Spanish course credit with approval from department.

Additional Information From Winston-Salem State University:

With the approval of the department, and in conjunction with the Office of International Programs, students may earn transferable credits from study abroad programs. Courses must have content related to the Spanish language or the Spanish-speaking world to transfer.  Students may include up to twelve (12) hours of study abroad transfer credits.

Students are required a minor to receive the Spanish major, considering CC courses towards a minor sequence.
