Due to university course sequencing, it is strongly recommended that students complete 30 hours of UGETC coursework then transfer during the summer term. This degree will take at least 3 years at Appalachian.
Completing the AA degree will result in students taking courses that will not benefit them in the major and extend time to graduation.
Transfer students need to plan to take a summer course sequence in order to be eligible for sophomore portfolio review in spring of their first full year.
