College Level Foreign Language Requirements:

The College of Humanities & Earth and Social Sciences requires two levels of foreign language (Language 111 and 112). Students who complete their associate degree are exempt from the language requirement.

Additional Information From UNC Charlotte:

At a minimum, majors must complete 36 credit hours in English, including 12 credit hours at the 4000-level.  No more than 12 credit hours in ENGL at the 2000-level may be counted toward the major.  Additionally, at least 3 credit hours are required in a departmentally designated diversity course.
