To apply to ECU as a transfer student:

  • Complete, or have in progress, a minimum of 24 transferable college-level courses
  • Have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA for all college-level coursework attempted

To declare/apply for this major, students must have

  • a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • completed CSDI 2100 with a "B" or higher
  • completed BIOL 1050, BIOL 1051, MATH 1065, PSYC 1000, PHYS 1050 or CHEM 1120, ENGL 2201, SPED 2000 & LING 3760 with a "C" or higher.
    • NCCCS equivalents include
      • BIO 110
      • MAT 171
      • PSY 150
      • PHY 110, PHY 151, CHM 131/131A, or CHM 151
      • ENG 112.
      • There are currenlty no NCCCS equivalents for SPED 2000 & LING 3760.
  • completed an interview
