College Level Foreign Language Requirements:

Students should take a language sequence of at least 6 hours at the community college or will have to take a language sequence in summer school at App State.

Within the SD major, Concentration Electives and Concentration Specialization Area courses will be chosen in consultation with your SD faculty advisor.  Some 2000-level and above courses taken at other institutions may transfer to Appalachian and count as courses in the Concentration Electives and Concentration Specialization Areas within each degree program, especially for students who have taken environmental, horticultural, or related natural resources management courses at other institutions.
