Program Admission Notes:

For general transfer admission to FSU, students should have 24 hours with a cumulative 2.0 GPA and should be eligible to return to the last institution attended.

To be accepted into the Forensic Science program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must have completed at least 30 credit hours. 
  • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Applicants must have earned a minimum grade of “C” in the following mathematics and science courses, with a maximum of two repeated courses: CHEM 141/ CHEM 141L (CHM 151) -  BIOL 150 / BIOL 150L (BIO 111), MATH 129 (MAT 171)

Additional Information From Fayetteville State University:

Student must earn a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher overall and a “C” or better in all major courses.

Transfer credit: A maximum of 60 hours of transfer credits will be accepted towards the Forensic Science degree. No credit will be accepted for science and mathematics courses taken more than ten (10) years earlier.
