Please note: EDU 216 will only transfer as EDU 2100 (required course) if the associate degree is completed. If students plan on transferring prior to degree completion, they should not take EDU 216.
Please note: MAT 151 is recommended for the major, but it is not CAA approved. Students should consult with their community college to see if it can be taken for transfer degree completion. If not, students may need to take STT 2810 (MAT 151) when at App State.
To be admitted to the Reich College of Education for teacher education, a student must meet the following criteria:

Passing PRAXIS Core test or being exempted (based on SAT or ACT scores)

A current Criminal Background Check (within 6 months of your application to teacher education)

Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher
-
30 semester hours or more

A minimum grade of “C” (2.0) must be earned in RC 1000, EDU 2000 & EDU 2100
