Program Admission Notes:

To apply to ECU as a transfer student:

  • Complete, or have in progress, a minimum of 24 transferable college-level courses
  • Have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA for all college-level coursework attempted

Important Major Note: Middle Grades Education majors must complete two concentrations appropriate for licensure. From the options below, students will select two concentrations and complete the aligning coursework for both of the selected concentrations to fulfill degree requirements for the BS in Middle Grades Education:

  •     English
  •     General Science
  •     Mathematics
  •     Social Studies

Please select concentration coursework outlined below in bold under “Remaining Bachelor’s Degree Requirements at University” while completing coursework for your Associates as much as you are able to. This will decrease remaining coursework needed at ECU.

Only the English and Social Studies concentrations can be completed fully online through the Partnership Teach program.
