Program Admission Notes:

To apply to ECU as a transfer student:

  • Complete, or have in progress, a minimum of 24 transferable college-level courses
  • Have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA for all college-level coursework attempted

Admission to the acting, educational theatre, musical theatre, and theatre for young audiences concentrations are by adjudication. Please refer to the School of Theatre and Dance website for details.

Theatre arts majors must attain a minimum grade of C- in all required theatre courses.

Please note: Students may need additional semesters past the traditional 4-5 to complete this degree upon transfer.

ECU does not have a transfer credit limit.
