About the major:
The international studies concentration offers courses from a range of disciplines focusing on social, cultural, economic, and political areas of international importance in our increasingly globalized society. Majors are encouraged to study available modern language offerings and take advantage of study abroad opportunities. Study abroad coursework may be used to satisfy requirements for the major but must be approved by the program director. Additional courses beyond those listed may be approved by the program director if they contribute significantly to the student's understanding of and appreciation for international studies.
