Admission to UNC Charlotte:

  • 24 transferable credit hours
  • 2.0 cumulative college GPA
  • Must be in good academic standing at most recently attended institution

All incoming students are admitted as Pre-Exercise Science and apply to upper division once eligible.

Application information can be found on the Exercise Science website. Exercise Science, upper division, admits in fall, spring, and summer.

Students who wish to stay on a two year plan, once transferring to UNC Charlotte, should complete all major specific courses at their community college with EXER 2101 and EXER 2150 at UNC Charlotte in the Summer I term, prior to starting upper division in the fall.

Concentration Courses 19-25

Concentration courses vary based on Strength and Conditioning concentration or Health and Fitness concentration. Pre-professional concentration students will use these hours for professional school course needs.
