Program Admission Notes:

To apply to FSU as a transfer student:

• Graduated from high school or obtained a GED/Adult Diploma

• Have at least 24 transferable credits with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA

Students must meet the following requirements to declare Cybersecurity as a major:

Minimum of 39 credits in the core curriculum required of all students.

Major Admission Requirements:

Students must earn a grade of C or higher in the following Fayetteville State University Courses:

  • CSC 120: Introduction to Programming Methodology AND
  • CSC 140: Cybersecurity Ethics and Cybercrime.

Students must earn a grade of C or higher in all major courses and have a minimum GPA of 2.0. Any student enrolled in a CSC or MATH course who does not meet the prerequisites for that course will be dropped.
