Program Admission Notes:

To apply to FSU as a transfer student:

  • Graduated from high school or obtained a GED/Adult Diploma
  • Have at least 24 transferable credits with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA

 

Students must meet the following requirements to declare Chemistry, General Chemistry, ACS Certified as a major:

 

  • Students must have a grade of C or higher in CHEM 161 (CHM 152 at NCCCs) and a grade point average of 2.0 or better to be admitted to the program.
  • A student must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours with a minimum grade point average required by the program.
